Introduction to Chabot College

Founded in 1961, Chabot College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges. The college is part of the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District. It is named after the astronomer and educator Anthony Chabot.

The large campus features redwood groves, creek areas, and state-of-the-art facilities including a fitness center, track, tennis courts, and performing arts center.
